Chef Prosenjit Chandra – academic head

Chef Prosenjit Chandra has 10 years of experience in Hospitality industry & Academics field. He is an Alumni of DSMS Hotel Management Institution, Durgapur, West Bengal, undergone 4 years Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management under West Bengal University of Technology, Approved by AICTE. He was associated with TAJ group of hotels as Management Trainee and CDP. Chef Prosenjit was also associated as Lecturer with DSMS HM college, West Bengal. As a passionate trainer and facilitator, he has raised many capable Chefs currently working all across the globe. Currently he associate with IHM RIG from last 6 years and serving the institute as Head Academics and International Placement Officer.

Chef Satish Kumar

Chef Satish Kumar – Assistant Professor

Completed hotel management form SAMS Institute of hotel management Varanasi (U.P). Also additionally qualifies as (C.H.T.) CERTIFIED HOSPITALITY TRAINER from I.H.M. PUSA (N.C.H.M.C.T.). With over nine years of experience with four years industry experiences and five years academic. Experience in the industry with properties like The Park and TGI Fridays and with specialization in continental cuisine.

Chef Priyaranjan Malik ia a National Council (NCHMCT) Gold Medalist in Food Production and winner of National Excellent Award for Hospitality Education 2011. He is also an alumni of esteemed institutions such as IHM Pusa New Delhi (M.Sc in Hospitality Administration ), IHM Bhubaneswar (B.Sc in H &HA) and SIHM Balangir (Diploma in Food Production). He was associated as an Assistant Lecturer with IHM Ranjita , Bhubaneswar for more than two years . He is specialized in Food Production and Food & Beverage service departments respectively. His Academic brilliance and expertise create a right platform for IHM RIG students towards evolving as polished and competent Hospitality professionals.

Ms. Swagata Chatterjee

Ms. Swagata Chatterjee- Assistant Professor

Ms. Swagata Chatterjee, Assistant Professor(F&B Service) has been a part of this institute since 2016. She is an alumni of IHM, Pusa(M.sc In Hotel Management) & IHM, Kolkata(B.SC in Hotel Management) & have worked with reputed brands like Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, The Oberoi’s, New Delhi & Lemon Tree Hotels(Gurgaon). With a varied experience in both industry as well as academics she takes care of all the F&B related activities in the industry as well as some management subjects like F&B Management, Facility Planning etc.

Mr. Priyesh Srivastava

Mr. Priyesh Srivastava – Assistant Professor

Completed Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) from JP Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Meerut in 2011. After which he has worked in some of the best Hotels in Delhi likeShangri-La Eros Hotel, The Taj Mahal Hotel & Radisson Blu Hotel. His experience in the best restaurants give students the edge to learn the latest in the industry in F&B Service. At IHM RIG he has discovered his passion for teaching and helping students build a career in F&B Service.

Ms Shilpa

Ms Shilpa

Ms. Shilpa is an alumni of Institute of Hotel management and catering technology , Kovalam , Kerala and has worked with renowned brands with Starwood group of hotels and Jaypee group. She holds a BSc. Degree and post graduate diploma  in management from IMT Ghaziabad and a Certified Hospitality Educator from AHLEI Currently working as Assistant Professor with the institute.

Ms. Meenal Sharma

Ms. Meenal Sharma – Assistant Professor

Having completed B.sc (H&HA) from Oriental school of hotel management (IHM) in 2012, she has worked with IHG Crowne plaza Okhla in Accommodation operation department .She is currently pursuing Masters in Travel &Tourism Management ( MTTM) from IGNOU.. She has also worked with AIHM institute as Accommodations Lecturer and conducted batches for Hunar Se Rozgar, a GIvernment skill development initiative. Presently working in IHM RIG as Front Office lecturer and handling all internships for students.

Mr. Kapil Sharma

Mr. Kapil Sharma – IT Head

Mr. Kapil Sharma is a Masters in Computer Science from M.D. Univesity. He also holds diploma in e-commerce and web technologies. Presently he is holding the post of IT Manager and faculty in computer science. His relentless efforts have been responsible for making various IT and communication system related projects operational in the institute in a record time.

Ms. Eti Gupta is an alumni of Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Jaipur and has worked with reputed brand of hotels like Imperial, Radisson and Shangri-La. She holds a B.Sc degree and post graduate diploma from Symbiosis. Currently she is working as Assistant professor with the Institute.

Mr. Ankit Mishra

Mr. Ankit Mishra, Asst. Professor

Mr. Mishra is M.Phil from JNU, Master of Tourism Management from IGNOU, MBA in Technology Management from BU, Master of Technology from Gautam Buddha University and BSc from CSJM University. He is also pursuing MA in Psychology currently. He has Six years teaching experience of Computer Science & Tourism subjects. Also he is Academic Counsellor and Programme In-charge of IGNOU University. Mr. Mishra has two International and one national research publications and undertaken project on “Speech Signal Identification”.

Asst. Professor, He did Hotel Management from IHM dadar Mumbai and international diploma in teaching and training from City and Guild, London. He is qualified instructor of Food Production AHLEI. He has 23 yrs of Industrial experience as Sous Chef/ Kitchen In-charge and 13 yrs of teaching experience.

Ms. Aditi Gupta is an MBA (Finance), M.Com (Finance & HR) with a teaching experience of 9 years in MBA colleges across Delhi NCR. She has worked with GL Bajaj Institute of Management and Research, Galgotia University, OP Jindal University- Sonipat . Prior to teaching , she worked with HDFC Bank in the capacity of Personal Banker. An avid social worker and an educationist she works with Anandam-NGO for destitute , giving them education for life.

Ms. Aarohi Tyagi having pursued her master’s in food and Nutrition from Punjab University has an experience in this field for 10yrs. She has also done a short course in the same from Fujita Health University (Japan). She is UGC qualified and has been a gold medalist.
